Kick-off meeting of the project A_MADAM was held on 23th-24th February 2017 in hotel “Park” in Belgrade /Serbia/. The participants in the kick-off meeting were representatives of all of the project participants, as well as the representative of the company EOS from Munich /Germany/, one of the largest manufacturers of the AM machines in Europe.
The first day
During the first day of the meeting were held opening ceremony with a media conference and the section on management topics.
Opening ceremony with media conference
The opening ceremony of the project A_MADAM was held at the beginning of the kick-off meeting and it was attended by representatives of:
- The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of Republic of Serbia, led by Vice-minister for international relations, prof. Viktor Nedović;
- The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of University of Belgrade;
- The Faculty of Electrical Engineering of University of Belgrade;
- The Faculty of Technical Sciences of University of Novi Sad;
- Vojvodina Metal Cluster;
- The Institute of Nuclear Sciences “Vinča”;
The ceremony was followed by a media conference for representatives of the Serbian national media:
- the largest national newspaper “Politika”;
- the largest national news agency “Tanjug”;
The management topics session
The media conference was followed by the management session that discussed the following topics:
- The concept of the A_MADAM project implementation
- Task assignment
- Management aspect of secondments
- Ethical issues
- Project management concept
- Consortium agreement
The second day
The second day of the kick-off meeting was dedicated to discussion of the research and innovation topics relevant for the project, including:
- Presentation of the state-of-the-art of the academic and industrial research on the subject of the project
- Overview of the standardization issues relevant for the subject of the project
- Concept of development of the research program of the project
- IP rights on the project and NDA clauses in the Consortium Agreement
- Research aspect of secondments
